The flat roof dormer loft conversion generally provides a large floor area and for the majority, a good head height. Therefore this loft conversion is a popular choice for homeowners as it offers a lot of additional space.
We build up a flat roof dormer loft conversion vertically from the plane of a sloping roof. We fit the ceiling joists by placing on top of the new timber wall which points horizontally back to the roof. Next we fix these to a steel with joist hangers which forms the box shape of the flat roof dormer. This loft conversion enables us to carry out most of the work externally from the scaffolding at the front or rear of the property.
